The trailer of Manoj Bajpayee and Prachi Desai-starrer Silence 2 has finally been released. The makers of the suspense thriller unveiled the much-awaited trailer which sees both Manoj and Prachi reprising their roles as ACP Avinash and Inspector Sanjana Bhatia. Directed by Aban Bharucha Deohans, the film also stars Parul Gulati, Dinkar Sharma, Sahil Vaid and Waqar Shaikh in important roles. The story of the film revolves around ACP Avinash and his special crime unit, who are on a mission to uncover the mysteries behind a series of murders.
Along with the trailer, ZEE5 wrote on Instagram, “The clock is ticking, the tension is rising! The city is in chaos and a killer is on the loose! Watch ACP Avinash and his Special Crime Unit solve a complicated murder in Silence 2.”
Talking about his experience of reprising the character of ACP Avinash, Manoj Bajpayee said, “I am thrilled to be a part of Silence 2: The Night Owl Bar Shootout and bring ACP Avinash Verma on screen for another entertaining murder mystery. Very happy to have it back. Working on this second installment has been an exciting experience, and I am excited to double the thrill for our audiences. Collaborating with ZEE5 again for this film feels perfect, and Aban Bharucha Devhans and the makers have done an incredible job on the film. The entire cast including Prachi, Sahil, Waqar and Parul brought their A-game, making it truly a memorable journey. Ever since we started shooting last year, the anticipation from fans has been tremendous. I hope they enjoy watching the film on ZEES as much as we enjoyed making it.”
On the other hand, Prachi also talked about the interesting trailer of Silence 2 and said, “The trailer only gives the audience a glimpse of what the film has to offer. The thrill, mystery and plot twists will keep the audience on the edge of their seats.”
Silence 2 will release on 16 April 2024 on ZEE5.
