Mumbai . Bollywood star Vicky Kaushal, who plays Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw in the biopic ‘Sam Bahadur’, remembered the Indian war hero on his 110th birth anniversary.

The actor shared a monochromatic picture of Sam Manekshaw in his Instagram stories, in which he can be seen posing for the camera in his uniform. His jeep is also visible in the photo.

Vicky wrote on the picture, “Remembering the legend on his 110th birth anniversary.”

‘Sam Bahadur’ was released in December last year and told the story of the great soldier. The film showed how he strengthened the army with his intelligence and decision-making abilities. The film also stars Fatima Sana Shaikh, Sanya Malhotra, Neeraj Kabi, Edward Sonnenblick and Mohammad Zeeshan Ayyub. ‘Sam Bahadur’ clashed with Ranbir Kapoor starrer ‘Animal’ at the box office, which emerged as one of the biggest blockbusters of the year.

Ranbir and Vicky have worked together in ‘Sanju’ and the 2018 streaming film ‘Love Per Square Foot’ in which Ranbir made a cameo.

Vicky, who worked in Dunky, will next be seen in ‘Bad News’ and ‘Chhaava’.
