The figure of Baba seen in the film is directly similar to that of Asaram, so it can be inferred that the film is related to Asaram’s controversy only.

Talking to ETimes, the producer of the film Asif Sheikh said in this whole matter, yes we have received the notice. Now our lawyers will decide what will be the next step in this matter. We have made a biopic on PC Solanki and for this we have also bought the rights from him. Now, if someone is coming and saying that this film is based on him, then we cannot do anything about it. We cannot stop someone’s thinking. When the film is released, the truth will tell itself. For information, let us tell you that the film will be released on May 23 on the OTT platform G5.

Sirf Ek Banda Kofi Hai is based on PC Solanki, the lawyer who fought the case against Asaram. Manoj Bajpayee has played his character in the film. PC Solanki’s full name is Poonamchand Solanki. PC Solanki is the person who advocated on behalf of the rape victim in the Asaram case. Solanki not only fought this case but also got justice for that girl. Solanki was associated with this case in 2014. He did not take any fee from the aggrieved party for this case. But in connection with the case, he traveled to Delhi and other places by spending his own money.

During this, he also received greed and threats to leave the case, but he did not care about it. This is the reason why today Asaram is serving life sentence in jail. Renowned and veteran lawyers of the country pleaded the case on behalf of Asaram. In front of these lawyers, PC Solanki very intelligently presented the Victim’s side and took the case to its conclusion without any fear.

Asaram was accused of raping a minor, serving life sentence The crimes of Asaram were first detected in 2013. In August 2013, a minor girl filed a rape case against Asaram. Her parents alleged that Asaram raped their daughter in the name of exorcism. Actually that girl was told that you are possessed by evil spirit and only Asaram Babu can cure it.

The victim girl went to Asaram’s Jodhpur ashram on 15 August 2013. On the same day Asaram raped the girl. On August 20, 2013, the parents of the Victim lodged an FIR. Five years later, in April 2018, he was found guilty in the Jodhpur court and was sentenced to life imprisonment.
