New Delhi: Skipper Limited has given multibagger returns to its investors in the last one year. Last year on June 20, its price was Rs 51.05, which has become Rs 182.60 on June 20, 2023. Thus, Skipper’s stock has given a return of 258% in the last one year holding period. If you had invested Rs 1 lakh in this stock a year back, it would have been worth Rs 2.58 lakh today. In the fourth quarter of the financial year 2023, the company’s revenue was Rs 657.36 crore, which is 18.95 percent more than the previous year. During this period the operating profit of the company stood at Rs 73.37 crore while the profit after tax stood at Rs 20.87 crore. Although the company’s net profit has increased by 200 percent on a quarterly basis. Earlier on June 17, 2023, the company has secured a new order of Rs 1135 crore. This includes the design, supply and construction of new transmission line projects of POWERGRID Corporation. In addition, the company will also supply towers and poles to countries in Latin America, the Middle East and North Africa. Skipper Limited was established in 1981 and today it is a leading player in Power Transmission & Distribution as well as Polymer segment. The company’s stock opened at Rs 184.20 on Tuesday. It went up to Rs 191.25 and down to Rs 180.55 in early trade. The stock had closed at Rs 172.70 in the previous session and is currently trading at Rs 184.30, up 6.72 per cent.
