Agriculture major Sohan Lal Commodity Management (SLCM) has received NABL accreditation for its mobile app AI ML QC. This app makes quality testing of agricultural products better and easier. The company said in a statement on Monday that it has received accreditation from the National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories (NABL). This app comes under its patented process management system Agri Reach.
SLCM, a provider of end-to-end post-harvest services, said the Agri Reach app brings the latest scientific advances in agriculture into the hands of common smartphone users. Within just two months of its launch, the app has been used to inspect 21.59 lakh tonnes of crops at 303 locations in 17 states of the country. Using Artificial Intelligence (AI) Machine Learning (ML) QC smartphone app, checking the quality of agricultural produce is as easy as taking a mobile picture.
The image is analyzed at various qualities with just one click through the app. The users then get the quality report. The reports come with pictures about all related problems including crop damage, shriveled, shriveled or immature grains. Sandeep Sabharwal, CEO, SLCM said, “We are the first and only company in this space to have received the prestigious NABL accreditation for an application. This app will facilitate the quality testing of commodities in the agriculture industry.
