Country’s largest bank, State Bank of India (SBI) has extended the last date of its ‘Amrit Kalash’ special fixed deposit scheme for general consumers. SBI Amrit Kalash Special Fixed Deposit Scheme has been extended till 15th August 2023. Earlier this scheme was valid till June 30, it was relaunched in April 2023.
Up to 7.60 percent interest will be available in the scheme
According to the State Bank of India (SBI) website, the 400-day Amrit Kalash Special Fixed Deposit scheme will fetch an interest of 7.10% to general customers. At the same time, senior citizens will get 7.6% interest. In this special scheme of State Bank, there is also the option of premature withdrawal and loan on deposit.
This is how you can invest in SBI Amrit Kalash Yojana
The interest in Amrit Kalash Yojana is calculated on monthly, quarterly and half-yearly basis. Interest will be paid on maturity for Special Fixed Deposit. The bank will credit the interest excluding TDS to the customer’s account at the end of the plan period. TDS on Fixed Deposit Scheme will be deducted as per Income Tax Act. You can book SBI Amrit Kalash Fixed Deposit through SBI Branch, Internet Banking or through SBI YONO App.
