SpiceJet will try its best to expand its business in the next two years. We want to add many tourist destinations, religious tourism, medical tourism, places like Lakshadweep.” According to Singh, the airline already has a license to operate seaplanes. The company is working on connecting many destinations through seaplane services. Therefore work is going on on these. He said, “I think today every airline wants to connect to Ayodhya with more and more flights. I think soon the government will have to expand the airport in Ayodhya.” He said, ”There is no doubt that Ayodhya will be one of the major tourist destinations in the world. Like you hear about Vatican or Mecca.
I have no doubt that Ayodhya will become the biggest tourist destination in the world.” Singh further said that air transportation is witnessing a massive growth and SpiceJet is serving major commercial hubs not only within the country but across the world. It also wants to start transportation services using large size aircraft in foreign countries also. He said that the company also intends to complete the listing process on the National Stock Exchange (NSE) soon.
