Stock market continues to rise in early trading, Sensex and Nifty also reach record levels – Dainik Savera Times

Mumbai: Domestic indices continued their uptrend in early trade on Tuesday with BSE Sensex crossing the 75,000-mark for the first time. Nifty also reached new record level. BSE’s 30-share Sensex rose 381.78 points to reach its all-time peak of 75,124.28.
NSE Nifty rose 99 points to its record peak of 22,765.30. Among the Sensex listed companies, shares of Infosys, Tech Mahindra, Tata Consultancy Services, HCL Technologies, Tata Motors, Wipro, ICICI Bank and Nestle were the biggest gainers.
Shares of JSW Steel, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Reliance Industries and Larsen & Toubro were among the losers. In Asian markets, Japan’s Nikkei 225 and Hong Kong’s Hang Seng were in profit, while China’s Shanghai Composite and South Korea’s Kospi were in loss. US markets closed with mixed sentiment on Monday.
Brent crude futures, the global oil benchmark, were trading 0.19 per cent higher at US$90.55 per barrel. According to stock market data, foreign institutional investors (FIIs) sold shares worth a net Rs 684.68 crore on Monday.
