Stock Market Update: Market gains, Sensex, Nifty close at all-time high

Sensex closed at 65,558.89 points with a gain of 164.99 points or 0.25 percent, Nifty closed at 19,413.75 points with a gain of 29.45 points or 0.15 percent.
There has been a rally in the domestic stock market amidst better global signals. In today’s trade, both the Sensex and Nifty indices have reached their all-time highs during the intraday. Sensex closed at 65,558.89 points with a gain of 164.99 points or 0.25 percent, Nifty closed at 19,413.75 points with a gain of 29.45 points or 0.15 percent. Mixed trend was seen in today’s business. Bank, financial, IT, metal and realty indices closed in green on Nifty. While Auto, FMCG, Pharma, PSU Bank index closed in red mark.
Top gainers of NIFTY
TCS shares on NSE Nifty are up by 2.60 per cent, HINDALCO by 2.59 per cent, INFY by 2.39 per cent, TECHM by 1.90 per cent, BAJAJFINSV by 1.62.
There was a break in these stocks on NIFTY
On NSE Nifty, POWERGRID declined by 3.35 per cent, COALINDIA by 1.86 per cent, UPL by 1.73 per cent, MARUTI by 1.68 per cent and BPCL by 1.35 per cent.

The Indian rupee declined marginally by 0.18 paise to close at 82.07 per dollar at the interbank forex market.
