Infosys, a company providing information technology services, has entered into an agreement with Aramco, one of the global companies in the energy and chemical sector, for cooperation in the human resource sector. The company said a memorandum of understanding (MoU) has been signed for technology support in human resource management of Aramco. This will help Aramco find employees best suited to the opportunities.

Telecom company Bharti Airtel on Monday announced a partnership with Secure Meters to provide ‘Narrow Band Internet of Things’ (NB-IoT) services to 1.3 million households in Bihar by installing smart meters. NB-IoT is a radio network technology with low power consumption and large area coverage. With its help, services like smart meters and internet-based products can be operated.
Maruti Suzuki
The country’s leading car manufacturer Maruti Suzuki India (MSI) on Monday introduced its new compact SUV ‘Fronx’ in the domestic market. Its showroom price in Delhi is between Rs 7.46 lakh to Rs 13.13 lakh. The Phoenix is offered with 1.2-litre petrol and one-litre turbo Boosterjet engine options. The 1.2L variant of this model is priced between Rs 7.46 lakh to Rs 9.27 lakh. The one liter Turbo Boosterjet engine variant is priced between Rs 9.72 lakh to Rs 13.13 lakh, ex-showroom Delhi.
Bank of Maharashtra
Public sector Bank of Maharashtra’s (BoM) profit more than doubled to Rs 840 crore in the March quarter. The profit of the bank has increased due to reduction in bad loans and increase in interest income. In the March quarter of the previous financial year, the bank had earned a profit of Rs 355 crore. The total income of the bank also increased to Rs 5,317 crore from Rs 3,949 crore in the quarter under review. During this period, its interest income also increased to Rs 4,495 crore. It was Rs 3,426 crore in the same period a year ago.
Tata steel
Tata Steel has started testing hydrogen gas in the blast furnace of its plant in Jamshedpur. The company’s Jamshedpur plant has six blast furnaces. The company said in a statement that Tata Steel has started trials of hydrogen gas injection using 40 per cent injection system at ‘E’ blast furnace in Jamshedpur. This is the first time in the world that such a large amount of hydrogen gas is being injected continuously into the blast furnace.
