The Sensex was trading at a level of 60,010.39 points with a gain of 99.64 points, or 0.17 per cent. Similarly, the NSE Nifty was trading at a level of 17,733 points with a strength of 26.20 points i.e. 0.15 per cent.

Shares of EICHERMOT, HCLTECH, TATAMOTORS, INDUSINDBK, HDFCLIFE are in green color i.e. in growth, while shares of APOLLOHOSP, TECHM, RELIANCE, POWERGRID, BAJAJ-AUTO are seen in red color i.e. weak. There is buying in bank and financial stocks in today’s trade. Today, Bank, Financial, Metal, Auto and Realty indices are in green on Nifty. While IT and Pharma index is in red mark. Bank of Maharashtra
Public sector Bank of Maharashtra (BoM) has announced an increase in interest rates for loans of various tenures. Under this, the MCLR has been increased by 0.10 per cent. Revision in MCLR is effective from April 15, 2023; The one-year MCLR has increased by 0.10 per cent to 8.50 per cent. Most consumer loans like vehicle, personal and housing have interest rates based on the one-year MCLR.
Ashok Leyland
Commercial vehicle major Ashok Leyland has bagged an order for 1560 trucks from VRL Logistics Limited (VRL). The company has not disclosed the amount of the deal. The order is for the AVTR 3120 and AVTR 4420 TT truck models. These will have all modern features to enhance the effectiveness and profitability of VRL’s growing fleet.
Maruti Suzuki
Maruti Suzuki India has introduced a new variant of its light commercial vehicle, the Super Carry. Its price has been kept between Rs 5.15 lakh to Rs 6.30 lakh. The 1.2L petrol variant of the vehicle will be priced between Rs 5.15 to 5.30 lakh and the CNG variant will be priced between Rs 6.15 to 6.30 lakh. The vehicle was first launched in the market in 2016, since then it has sold over 1.5 lakh units.
Vedanta
Vedanta Group has said that it has entered into agreements with 20 Korean companies involved in the display glass sector for the development of an electronics manufacturing center in India. Vedanta Group was invited for a roadshow at the recently concluded Korea Biz-Trade Show 2023. The show was organized by KOTRA, the trade and investment promotion body of the Korean government.
Tata Power
Power distribution company Tata Power Delhi Distribution Limited (Tata Power DDL) has tied up with NTPC Vidyut Vyapar Nigam for supply of hydropower. Under this Power Purchase Agreement (PPA), NTPC Vidyut Vyapar Nigam will supply 200 MW of hydro power every year for the next 5 years to meet the peak power demand during summer months from May to September. Tata Power DDL supplies electricity to a population of over 7 million in North Delhi.
