Power generation company NTPC’s profit has increased by 5.4 percent on annual basis to Rs 4,476 crore. Profits were impacted by lower operating margin. Revenue grew 37% YoY to Rs 41,411 crore as compared to the year-ago period. At the operating level, EBITDA jumped 36% to Rs 13,239 crore, but margin declined 15 bps to 31.97% for the quarter.
Tata Motors
The company is going to increase the prices of its internal combustion engine powered passenger vehicles from Wednesday, passing on part of the cost increase to the customers. Due to this move of the company, the prices of all models will increase by an average of 1.2 percent.
Adani Enterprises
Adani Enterprises FPO will open on 30 January. Today is the second day of the Rs 20,000 crore FPO of Adani Group’s flagship company. The issue has been subscribed 1% so far. The issue price band is Rs 3,112 to Rs 3,276 per share.
