Food products company Patanjali Foods has chalked out a growth plan to achieve a turnover of Rs 50,000 crore and an operating profit of Rs 5,000 crore in the next five years, in which the FMCG business will play a key role. Patanjali Foods Limited was earlier named Ruchi Soya Industries but was acquired by Patanjali Group in September, 2019 as part of the debt resolution process.
M&M’s
Mahindra Last Mile Mobility, a Mahindra & Mahindra Group company, said on Monday that its electric three-wheeler sales more than doubled to 36,816 units in FY 2022-23 on an annual basis. The company’s sales were 17,522 units in the financial year 2021-22. The company introduced its new three-wheeler electric vehicle Jor Grand in the last financial year. The vehicle received over 23,000 bookings within a year.

Markets regulator Sebi has barred Essel Group Chairman Subhash Chandra and Group company Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd (ZEEL) MD and CEO Punit Goenka from holding any directorship or key managerial positions in any listed company. The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) on Monday took this action on Chandra and Goenka after finding them guilty in the ZEEL money transfer case.
Tata Motors
Tata Motors-owned Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) plans to invest 300 million pounds annually until the financial year 2025-26. With this, the company has a target of 3000 million pound turnover annually. JLR manufactures SUVs like Range Rover, Defender and Discovery and Jaguar luxury cars under the Land Rover brand. The company’s revenue is estimated to be 2800 million pounds in 2023-24.

Sequoia Capital on Monday sold its entire 10.18 per cent stake in fashion brand Go Fashion in the open market for Rs 625 crore. American company Sequoia sold its stake in Go Fashion India through Sequoia Capital India Investments-4. The value of this deal was Rs 624.72 crore. The company sold 54,98,875 shares in the open market at Rs 1,136.10.
