Reliance Industries
The net profit of Reliance Industries has seen a decline of about 15 percent on an annual basis (YoY), while the revenue has increased by almost the same amount. The company has registered a net profit of Rs 15,792 crore during the third quarter of the current financial year, as against Rs 18,549 crore in the same quarter last year. During this period, the company’s revenue increased from Rs 1.91 lakh crore to Rs 2.2 lakh crore. EBITDA increased by about 8.72 percent to Rs 16,429 crore. Which was Rs 15,110 crore in the same period last year.
UltraTech Cement
The consolidated net profit of this Aditya Birla Group company declined by 37.9 percent to Rs 1,062.68 crore in the December 2022 quarter. While last year it was Rs 1,710.40 crore. However, the company’s total income grew by 27.5 per cent to Rs 16,647.52 crore during the same period.
ICICI Bank
ICICI Bank’s profit has increased by 34.2 percent on an annual basis to Rs 8,312 crore. Net interest income has increased by 34.6 percent to Rs 16,465 crore. The margin has increased by 69 bps to 4.65 percent on an annual basis. Credit growth has increased by 19.7 percent and deposit growth by 10.3 percent.
Adani Enterprises
Just days ahead of the Rs 20,000 crore FPO, group CFO Jugeshinder ‘Robbie’ Singh talks about the company’s future business and investment plans in an interview with Business Standard. The amount raised through the FPO will be used by the company for green hydrogen projects, airport facilities and greenfield expressways, besides reducing some of its debt, he said. Let us tell you, the company will sell shares in the price band of Rs 3,112-3,276 in the FPO, which will open on January 27 and close on January 31.
State Bank of India
SBI has entered into an agreement to acquire 40 per cent stake in Commercial Indo Bank LLC, Moscow, held by Canara Bank. The transaction is expected to be completed by March 2023 and the acquisition cost is $14.67 million.
