Buying is seen in most of the sectors in today’s trade. Most of the indices on Nifty including Bank, Financial, IT, Auto, Pharma and Realty are in the green. Domestic vehicle manufacturer Mahindra & Mahindra’s total tractor sales increased by nearly 6 per cent to 44,478 units in June. The company sold 41,848 tractors in June 2022. The company said in a statement released on Monday that its sales in the domestic market last month increased by 9 percent to 43,364 units. In the same month a year ago, the company had sold 39,825 tractors in the domestic market. Mahindra & Mahindra’s vehicle sales have increased by 21 per cent year-on-year to 32,588 units in June this year.
RIL
Reliance Jio, the country’s largest telecom service company and RIL’s telecom arm, launched its 4G phone ‘Jio Bharat V2’ priced at Rs 999. The company said in a statement that customers of this phone will have to pay Rs 123 for a plan with a validity of 28 days. Apart from this, the company will also give 14 GB 4G data to the customers. According to the company, beta testing for the first 1 million phones of Jio India is set to begin on July 7.

Sales of Bajaj Auto’s electric scooter Chetak increased 4 times to 36,260 units in the last financial year 2022-23. Giving this information in the company’s annual report, it has been said that the sales of Chetak EV have increased rapidly due to the reduction of semiconductor crisis globally. The company sold 8,187 units of Chetak electric scooter in 2021-22. Bajaj’s popular brand Chetak was relaunched in the market as an electric scooter in 2020-21.
IndusInd Bank
Hinduja Group-owned IndusInd International Holdings (IIHL) has announced a capital raising of $1.5 billion to finance its proposed acquisition of Reliance Capital and increase its stake in IndusInd Bank. IIHL is also the promoter of IndusInd Bank. According to a statement issued from Port Louis, the board of directors of Mauritius-registered IIHL has also decided to increase its stake in the fourth largest private sector lender in India from 15 per cent to 26 per cent.
SpiceJet
Troubled airline SpiceJet said on Monday that it has repaid a loan of Rs 100 crore from City Union Bank. SpiceJet, which provides affordable air services, said in a statement that Rs 25 crore was repaid as the last installment of this loan in June. Along with this, all the assets pledged with the bank in lieu of the loan have also been returned. The airline said the last installment was paid on June 30.
