Stock Market Updates: Sensex and Nifty both closed strongly amid all-round boom

Sensex rose 418.45 points, or 0.67 percent, to close at 63,143.16 points, Nifty closed at 18,716.15 points, up 114.65 points, or 0.62 percent.
Good buying has been seen in the domestic stock market amid mixed global cues. In today’s trade, rally was seen in both the Sensex and Nifty indices. Sensex has become stronger by more than 400 points. Sensex rose 418.45 points, or 0.67 percent, to close at 63,143.16 points, Nifty closed at 18,716.15 points, up 114.65 points, or 0.62 percent. In today’s business, purchases have been seen in almost every sector except auto in the market. Most of the indices including Bank, Financial, IT, Metal, Realty and Pharma closed in the green on Nifty. In the midst of this vigorous boom, the wealth of stock market investors increased by about Rs 2.07 lakh crore.
Top gainers of NIFTY
On the NSE Nifty, TATACONSUM shares are up by 2.34 per cent, CIPLA by 2.31 per cent, ITC by 2.05 per cent, TITAN by 1.96 per cent, Asianpaint by 1.92.
There was a break in these stocks on NIFTY
On the NSE Nifty, KOTAKBANK declined by 1.23 per cent, ADANIENT by 0.84 per cent, ADANIPORTS by 0.84 per cent, HCLTECH by 0.74 per cent and M&M by 0.52 per cent.
Indian rupee depreciates marginally
At the interbank foreign exchange market, the Indian rupee declined marginally by 0.06 paise to close at 82.38 against the US dollar.
