Glenmark Pharma

Glenmark Pharmaceuticals Ltd has said that it has received approval from the US health regulator for generic tacrolimus ointment. It is used for the treatment of moderate to severe atopic dermatitis. According to a statement issued by the company, the US Food and Drug Administration (USFDA) has approved Tacrolimus Ointment 0.03%, the generic version of Protopic Ointment, 0.03% for Leo Pharma AS. Glenmark’s Tacrolimus Ointment 0.03% will be distributed in the US by Glenmark Pharmaceuticals Inc (USA).

NTPC

Public sector power company NTPC has separated its mining business into its own entity NTPC Mining Ltd. Business Transfer Agreement has been signed for handing over to. The company’s mining business includes six coal mines. This agreement shall become effective upon fulfillment of the prescribed conditions. The company has listed NTPC Ltd. on the stock market on July 29, 2023. The board of directors had informed about the approval of the proposal to separate the coal mining business.

Maruti Suzuki

Senior executive officer (marketing and sales) Shashank Srivastava on Thursday said the auto major plans to open 57 Nexa showrooms, its premium outlets, by March 2025 as the demand for its top-end vehicles continues to rise. Srivastava told Business Standard that Nexa accounted for about 31.9 per cent of total sales till July this year.

SJVN

State-owned SJVN Limited has signed two agreements with Punjab State Power Corporation Limited (PSPCL) to distribute 1,200 MW of power in Punjab. Sutlej Jal Vidyut Nigam (SJVN) has recently signed two power purchase agreements (PPAs) for 1200 MW of solar power. PSPCL had floated tenders to purchase power from solar power projects in Punjab and other parts of the country. SJVN Green Energy Limited (SGEL), a unit of SJVN, offered a rate of Rs 2.53 per unit for supply of 1,000 MW power and Rs 2.75 per unit for the remaining 200 units.

ONGC

Public sector company Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) is taking rapid steps towards becoming a company with low carbon emissions. Under this, it will invest one lakh crore rupees by the end of this decade in the energy sector considered environment friendly, including renewable and green hydrogen. The company said that it has prepared a detailed roadmap for expansion in the energy sector with low carbon emissions.
