NTPC
NTPC is going to release its December quarter results on Saturday i.e. 28th January. And the results of Bharat Electronics, CARE Ratings, DCB Bank, Five-Star Business Finance, Gujarat Ambuja Exports, Heranba Industries, Kajaria Ceramics, Vedant Fashions, Radiant Cash Management Services and Zen Technologies will also come today.
The results of Tata Group company Tata Motors have surprised. The company has made a profit of 2958 crores in the December quarter, while the company had a loss of 1516 crores in the same quarter a year ago. Revenue has increased by 22.5 percent to 88,489 crores. JLR’s performance has also been strong during this period. EBITDA has increased by 33 percent on an annual basis to 9,853 crores. Margin expansion stood at 90 bps YoY and reached 11.1 per cent. The company is cautious but positive about the demand environment amid global uncertainties.
Adani Enterprises
The follow-on public offer (FPO) of Adani Enterprises, the flagship company of Adani Group, is opening for retail investors on January 27, 2023, in which investors will be able to invest till January 31. The price band is Rs 3,112-3,276 per share. Adani Enterprises is going to launch the largest FPO in the history of the Indian stock market, whose size is Rs 20,000 crore. Before the FPO, the company has raised Rs 5,985 crore from anchor investors. At the same time, this share is trading at a premium in the gray market.
Patanjali Foods
Patanjali Foods’ third quarter profit rose 16 per cent to Rs 269 crore due to lower financial costs along with better topline and higher other income. The revenue grew 26.2% YoY to Rs 7,927 crore as compared to a year-ago period. EBITDA has decreased by 12.4 percent to Rs 368 crore as compared to the same period of the previous financial year.
DLF
In the December quarter, the company’s profit has increased by 37 percent to close to Rs 519 crore. The company had incurred a loss of around Rs 224.5 crore in the same period last year. In the third quarter, it has increased by 3.5 percent to Rs 1495 crore. On an annual basis, the rental income has increased by a record 16 percent to Rs 1363 crore.
