A session on Digital Transformation was organized by South Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry at Samhti, Sarsana, Surat. Abhilash Das, Vice President and Global Leader, Pentagon Systems & Services Pvt Ltd, and Raj Shah, Business Manager, AWS India, as expert speakers, enlightened the IT and digital transformation entrepreneurs on its importance. Detailed information was given on various aspects of digital transformation and information technology and business development involved in the textile sector.

Chamber of Commerce President Ramesh Vaghasia said that technology is changing rapidly in today’s era. The South Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry has also taken the lead in promoting innovation, growth and adaptability. Digital transformation has become very useful in business and industries as well and it is the need of the hour to move ahead by adopting it.

Speaker Raj Shah how government and semi-government departments, corporate companies and small SME base companies are progressing through digitization? His detailed information was given. They discussed the status of digital transformation at the time the service was launched and the way it is growing now.

How can data be secured by providing information about various domains like infrastructure, development, site service, support service, business-industry related units, digital transformation in various companies, organizations and offices? They were informed. Apart from this, he gave information about cloud service and its benefits. He said that as the prevalence of cloud service is increasing, this service is becoming cheaper day by day. Furthermore, he discussed each model and system of AWS in detail.

Speaker Abhilash Das said that especially if people associated with business-industry and various services do not digitize, many opportunities will be missed. Regarding some of the problems faced by the entrepreneurs associated with the IT sector of South Gujarat, he said that due to credit card payments to the entrepreneurs, their credit score gets affected. He assured to provide the service at low cost by saying that he will pay the existing charges given by these friends from the official charges of his company. The then former President of the Chamber Himanshu Bodawala thanked everyone present in the session. In the session, Minister Nikhil Madrasi gave guidelines regarding the confusion of the entrepreneurs. Group Chairman Bashir Mansoori presented the outline of the programme. Punit Gajera, co-chair of the Chamber’s IT and Communications Infrastructure Committee (Internal) moderated the entire session and introduced speaker Abhilash Das.

Shailesh Khawani, co-chair of the Chamber’s Artificial Intelligence and Digital Transformation Committee, introduced speaker Raj Shah.
