Deepchand Chowdhary is the President of Hariom Textile Market Association and member of the Executive Committee of Tirupati Textile Market. President of Anjana Patel Samaj and executive member of All India Anjana Mahasabha, besides being the founder member of Anjana Kelavani Mandal, he is the executive member of Mount Abu based Anjana Education Trust. Choudhary has completed his graduation from the Faculty of Commerce. Deepchand Chowdhary is in the committee of Hariom Textile Market for the last 17 years and he is the president of Hariom Textile Market for the last 12 years. Deepchand Chaudhary, a native of Samdadi village under Barmer district of Rajasthan, came to Surat in 1984 and initially worked in a STM shop. In 1992, he started his own clothing business. Due to long struggle and hard work, Choudhary today has shops in Hariom Textile Market and Tirupati Textile Market and has become a successful textile businessman.
Deepchand Chowdhary told in a conversation with the reporter that most of the major problems of Moti Begumwadi have been solved. Due to his efforts in Moti Begumwadi, gutter line and street lights have been changed, roads have been built and traders have got freedom from the familiar traffic problem here.
Chaudhary told that many burning problems are still coming in the way of textile business in Moti Begumwadi, mainly due to turbulent current. Vera bill transfer is not done due to the application of disturbing clause. Removal of turbulent flow from commercial properties here will pave the way for development of textile business. He told that most of the textile markets here are built on the land of Dawoodi Bohra Samaj Trust and traders have possession receipts of the shops. The exodus of parties from the cloth markets of Moti Begumwadi is a big problem in the business. For this, the Arbitration Act will be brought by FOSTA. Traders will be able to do business worry-free as payment has become the norm.
