Surat: BJP State President of ‘Sparkle International Gems and Jewelery Exhibition – 2023’ C.R. Grand opening by Patil | Loktej Surat, Business News

South Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SGCCI) and South Gujarat Chamber Trade and Industry Development Center have inaugurated the three-day ‘Sparkle International Gems and Jewelery Exhibition – 2023’ at Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya Indoor Stadium, Athwalines, Surat. The exhibition can be visited on 25, 26 and 27 August 2023 from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM.

Sparkle exhibition on Friday at 10:00 am by local MP and Gujarat BJP state president C.R. Inaugurated by Patil. He along with wife Gangaben Patil visited the jewelery stalls to see the latest designer jewelery and encouraged the jewellers. Surat Municipal Corporation Standing Committee Chairman Paresh Patel was also present at the function and also visited various jewelery stalls.

Chamber of Commerce President Ramesh Vaghasia welcomed everyone to the Sparkle Exhibition. He said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has set a target of making India a five trillion US dollar economy by the year 2027. Also, the South Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry has set a target of increasing exports from the Gujarat region under the SGCCI Global Connect Mission 84 project, while urging industrialists to export US$ 1 trillion. As the gems and jewelery industry has developed in Surat, efforts will be made to export more and more jewelery to foreign countries through the Sparkle exhibition under Mission 84.

Member of Parliament and State President of Gujarat BJP C.R. Patil said that the Chamber of Commerce does its work very well, which is demonstrated by organizing the Sparkle Exhibition. The Chamber endeavors to make the policies of the Central and State Government industry friendly. The jewelers of Surat have designed jewelery matching the Indian culture, which has increased the attraction of the people. The economic condition of the people is known from the fact that the purchasing power of the people increases. He congratulated the Chamber for organizing Sparkle and wished success to the exhibition.

He further said that the Chamber of Commerce should request the State Government to include an exhibition like Sparkle in Vibrant Gujarat-2024.

The Sparkle Exhibition has been organized by the Chamber on B2C basis. In which apart from Surat, around 30 jewelers from Ahmedabad, Mumbai, Jaipur and Bikaner are showcasing latest ornamental designer jewellery. Also, Jewelers In Sparkle’s wonderful collection of silver includes Ram Mandir, Ram Darbar with idols of Lord Shri Ram, Sita Mata and Laxmanji and Hanumanji, 4 ft idol of Shrinathji, Shreeji idol and Prime Minister Narendra Modi idol is included.

Necklaces developed by jewelers from Surat for NRIs, weddings and upcoming festivals are on display. In which different design concepts have been developed with technical variations. The new range is specially created for weddings and in this, customers will get to see the classic look as well as the fusion look. Customers will find here an exclusive collection of bridal wedding rings specially branded by the jewelers keeping in mind the weddings.

Chamber’s Vice President Vijay Mewawala thanked everyone present at the opening ceremony of the Sparkle exhibition. The function was attended by the then former president Himanshu Bodawala, minister Nikhil Madrasi and treasurer Kiran Thummar, former president, group president and members of the chamber. Chamber’s Group Chairperson Dr. Bandana Bhattacharya conducted the function.
