Surat: Cars worth Rs 5 lakh to Rs 5 crore will be on display in Auto Expo-2024. Loktej Surat, Business News

The four-day ‘Surat International Auto Expo-2024’ was organized among various series of industrial exhibitions organized by South Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SGCCI). The sixth edition of the Auto Expo is organized by the Chamber of Commerce this year from 15 to 18 March 2024 at Surat International Exhibition and Convention Centre, Sarsana, Surat.

Chamber of Commerce President Ramesh Vaghasia said that while Gujarat is establishing itself as the hub of the automobile industry, major auto companies of the country will be showcasing their products such as cars, two-wheelers, commercial vehicles, auto accessories, spare parts and Will demonstrate the workshop. This exhibition is considered to be the largest overall exhibition of Western India. The expo will showcase the latest innovations and developments in the automobile industry. This expo will provide an excellent opportunity to industrialists, professionals and entrepreneurs to explore new technologies and trends in the automobile sector.

Chamber Vice President Vijay Mewawala informed that the inaugural ceremony of the Auto Expo will be held on Friday, March 15, 2024 at 10:00 am in Hall-A, SIECC Dome, Sarsana, Surat. In which MP and State President of Gujarat BJP C.R. was present as the chief guest. Patil will grace this place. E. Rajiv, Executive Director, International Automobile Center of Excellence (iACE) and Girish Karkera, Editor, Car & Bike India will be present as special guests.

Chamber’s immediate past president Himanshu Bodawala, Honorary Minister Nikhil Madrasi and Honorary Treasurer Kiran Thummar said that more than 90 brands from car segment, two wheeler segment, commercial segment, accessories have participated in the Surat International Auto Expo-2024.

Chairman of Surat International Auto Expo-2024, Mehul Desai said that ‘Surat International Auto Expo’ organized in Surat gets tremendous response every time. The Composite Auto International Expo, India’s second largest expo after Delhi, is held in Surat. This time too most of the national and international auto companies have participated in this exhibition. In which the four wheeler segment includes various brands like Mini Cooper, Audi, Mercedes, BMW, Volvo, Jaguar, Land Rover, Tata Motors, Toyota, Lexus, Nissan, Isuzu, Kia, Hyundai, Skoda and Mahindra.

India’s largest automobile exhibition is home to passenger vehicles, two-wheelers, commercial vehicles, auto components, accessories, workshop equipment and tools on a single platform. Various brands will be showcasing their electric vehicles and hybrid vehicles in almost all segments in this exhibition, hence the diversity of the automobile industry will be seen in this exhibition.

The BYD Seal car, which was launched in India last week on March 5, will be displayed in this Auto Expo. Although this car has not been displayed in any exhibition in India yet, but this car will be displayed for the first time in this Auto Expo organized by the Chamber of Commerce. Apart from this, for the first time a motor home/vanity manufacturing company will be displaying its products at the Auto Expo.

This time, brands like BMW Motorrad, Triumph, Suzuki, TVS, Yamaha, Ather, Bajaj, Hero are participating in the two wheeler segment in the Auto Expo. While brands like Tata, Iser, Force Motors and Mahindra are participating in the commercial vehicle segment. Apart from this, many national and international brands will participate in the accessories segment.

This time, for the first time in the exhibition, an area is being earmarked in which each exhibitor will get space to keep demo vehicles. Through which customers will be able to select a car, take a demo at that location and decide to buy the car. This kind of approach is rarely seen in any auto expo in India.
