Surat: Chamber of Commerce organizes B2B business meet with AHOA delegation from America and entrepreneurs from Surat

Chamber of Commerce President Himanshu Bodawala said that the Asian American Hotel Owners Association of America (AHOA) owns 60 percent of the total hotels in America. 20 thousand members of the hotel industry are directly associated with this association. It is heartening that Neil Patel, originally from Surti, has become the president of this association and a delegation of AHOA came to Surat under his chairmanship.
Ahoa has an annual turnover of US$370 billion and purchases about US$3 billion. It includes various products like computer software, cloth, furniture, food items. So there are ample opportunities for the industrialists of Surat to export their products to the AHOA members.
He further added that a special B2B business meet was organized for Platinum, Gold and Premium members of the Chamber of Commerce. In which many good new business ideas were exchanged and a business deal was also done after the discussion between the members of SGCCI and AHOA. Further, the delegation including the President of AHOA assured full support and cooperation to AHOA if any exhibition is organized by the Chamber of Commerce in the US in future.
In this meeting, Ahoa President Neel Patel invited businessmen from Surat, USA to start the new motel. He gave all the information to the entrepreneurs to get finance to start the motel. He said, AHOA is a very big association and it consists mostly of native Gujaratis. He invited the industrialists of Surat to start a motel in America and also showed readiness to provide all possible help for this.
The meeting was moderated by Chamber’s Honorary Minister Bhavesh Taylor. The meeting was attended by Chamber Vice President Ramesh Vaghasia, Honorary Treasurer Bhavesh Gadhiya, Past Presidents, Group Presidents Bijal Jariwala, Amish Shah, Deepak Sethwala and Chamber’s Consulate Liaison/International Trade Delegation Committee Chairman Harshal Bhagat besides Signature Club members and businessmen. was present.
