Similarly, about a year ago, JB Brothers Diamond Company in Varachha area had suddenly fired about 270 gem artists working in its company due to recession. It is alleged that all these dismissed employees have not been paid the amount of gratuity and other benefits received by the company. Due to which these employees have adopted the path of agitation.

JB Brothers Diamond Company had suddenly decided to fire the old employees working in its company. When the company suddenly decided to fire the employees who had been working as gem artists for more than 10, 15, 20 and 25 years due to recession. As per government rules, all employees who have worked in the same company for more than 5 years were entitled to the gratuity amount. But this amount has not been paid to even a single employee by the company.

Even after a year has passed since the dismissal of Ratna artists, all the former employees have not been able to get their due gratuity and finally all the former employees got angry and went on strike today. 270 jewelers staged a protest for their rights and adopted the path of agitation. For quite some time now, gem artists have been demanding their due money from the company. Ultimately, after not getting the money, they chose the path of agitation.
