Surat: Distribution of ration kits by Adani Foundation in three flood affected villages of Bharuch.  Loktej Surat, Business News

Amid the recent Narmada flood situation, Adani Foundation stands with the affected people. As per the suggestion and coordination of Bharuch district administration, ration kits were given to the affected people of three villages of Shuklatirtha area on Sunday. The beneficiaries include more than 1000 families from Mangleshwar, Nikoda and Tawar villages. It seems as if the beneficiaries have come back to life due to the help given during the disaster.

Last week there were floods in Bharuch, Ankleshwar and many villages on the banks of Narmada. As a result local people have lost their homes and belongings including household items. In that, Adani Foundation has given ration for 15 days to the needy. The ration kit includes five kg flour, one kg rice, two kg toor dal, one kg salt, one liter oil, two kg potatoes, one kg onion, 100 grams chilli and 100 grams turmeric. ,

Ushaben Mishra, CSR Head, Adani Foundation, Dahej said, “Adani Foundation is continuously active in the welfare of communities. After the natural disaster in Bharuch, on the suggestion of the district administration, we have distributed essential items in three villages around Shuklatirtha. These kits have been distributed to the affected families of three villages.
