Federation of All Surat Textile Association (FOSTA) held a meeting with Surat Shop Brokers Association on Thursday.
President of Surat Shop Broker Association, Amit Khandela said that a necessary meeting was held to discuss the policy, rules and date for tenants and shop owners.
The main objective of the meeting was to make the shopkeepers aware to make the business safe and not to rent shops to people with wrong mentality.
FOSTA President Kailash Hakim said that shops should be given on rent only after taking complete information of all the tenants, submitting forms to the Market Association and Shop Broker Association and getting police verification done. He said that Surat Shop Broker Association should strengthen its organization so that all the shop brokers become its members and only those who are members can get the shop on rent to the businessman.
FOSTA President Kailash Hakim, FOSTA Director and officials of Broker Association were present in the meeting.
