Prime Minister Modi will inaugurate the world’s largest office building Diamond Burse on 17th. Modi had announced the date 4 months in advance, due to which the Bursa Committee had also started preparations for the program. More than 2 thousand people have been invited from abroad including Dubai and Hong Kong. The Bursa Committee has booked hotels including 5 star hotels in the city for the guests coming from outside. There are three five star hotels in the city, all of whose rooms have been booked. Some rooms are also booked in Awadh Utopia Club. Due to such a big event, there is shortage of rooms in 5 star hotels of the city.
Diamonds are traded from Surat to almost all the countries of the world, for which Surat Diamond Bourse Committee has made arrangements for diamond traders living abroad to come to Surat for the inauguration ceremony of Surat Diamond Bourse. According to committee members, more than 2,000 people associated with diamond traders, diamond buyers and diamond traders have been invited by the Surat Diamond Bourse Committee to attend the event, for whom hotel accommodation will be provided.
Booking of rooms in three star, five star, Avadh Utopia
There are a total of three five-star hotels in the city. Guests from abroad and cities outside Surat have been invited to this event. Rooms in three, five star hotels have been booked for the guests coming to Surat. Apart from this, rooms have also been booked in Awadh Utopia Club, due to which all the rooms of five star hotels in Surat are currently housefull.
3 thousand traders will come from Mumbai alone
Diamond traders from not only Surat but many cities including Mumbai will participate in the inauguration of Surat Diamond Bourse. Besides, traders doing jewelery business in various cities of India, diamond traders from Delhi, Jaipur will also participate in this program. More than 3 thousand diamond traders from Mumbai will participate in this event. Sources have also informed that some diamond traders will come to Surat by charter flight.
