An MoU for exchange of professional information and business inquiries was signed between Surat and Asian African Chamber of Commerce and Industry under the SGCCI Global Connect Mission 84 organized by South Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry. So that the industrialists and businessmen of both the countries can be mutually useful to each other. Ramesh Vaghasia, President of the Chamber of Commerce and Dr. G.D., Founder and President of the Asian African Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Singh signed this MoU.
Chamber President Ramesh Vaghasia said that after the MoU, professional exchange will be possible between the members of the Chamber of Commerce of the two countries. Along with this, industrialists and businessmen of Surat as well as businessmen of Asian African countries will also get necessary business guidance and support. Information about the products required by the traders of African countries will be given to the industrialists and traders of Surat, so that they can export various products from Surat. In this way, mutual cooperation will be the aim to achieve the export target of Rs 84,000 crore under Mission 84 of SGCCI in the near future.
Apart from this, according to this MOU, the Mission 84 project of the Chamber of Commerce will be extended to other Chambers of Commerce of African countries and their associated businessmen. An MoU has been signed with the Asian African Chamber of Commerce and Industry with the aim of enabling entrepreneurs and businessmen of Surat to do business with businessmen from African countries.
A few days ago, under Mission 84, M.J., Executive Director of Asian African Chamber of Commerce and Industry. A meeting was held with Puri and Muralipai, in which Paresh Bhatt, CEO of Mission 84, presented the SGCCI Global Connect Mission 84 project to them and requested them to join Mission 84.
In this meeting, the Chamber of Commerce also gave information to the representatives of the Asian African Chamber of Commerce about the Food and Agritech Exhibition to be organized from 10 to 12 February 2024. Both the representatives assured the businessmen associated with the food processing industry in African countries to participate in the Food and Agritech Exhibition of the Chamber of Commerce in Surat and visit the exhibition.
