Today Mudra Port handles more than 155 million metric tonnes of cargo for the first time in India, representing about 11 per cent of India’s seaborne cargo. Mundra is also the Mudra Exim gateway for container traffic. In fact, 33 per cent of the country’s container traffic passes through a dedicated freight corridor that provides unique facilities for double-stack containers from the northern hinterland to Mundra.
