Organizations and individuals doing exemplary work in various sectors under the initiative of South Gujarat Productivity Council (SGPC) were grandly honored with “SGPC Excellence Awards” by Surat MP and Union Minister Darshana Jardosh and SGPC President Bhadresh Shah and team.

Bharatbhai Shah, President of Public Education Society and Vijay Mewawala, Vice President of South Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry, were present as special guests at the event organized in the presence of Union Railways and Textiles Minister Darshanaben Jardosh.

Bhadreshbhai Shah, Chairman of the Institute, in his keynote address said that the organizations and their managers who have performed exceptionally well in various fields like most innovative, best quality, maximum production-turnover-export-employment, research and development etc. and have earned the name of South Gujarat in the entire Those who have illuminated the world should be given this award in a fair, transparent and balanced manner. Which will boost the government’s missions of Self-reliant India, Make in India and efforts to increase productivity and exports.

Dr. Dheerajlal Kotadia, Managing Director of Sahajanand Group of Companies, which has gained international reputation as an excellent indigenous company in the field of cardiac stents, robots, organics, was honored with the ‘Excellence in R&D Award’. D.H.Italia, Manager, Italia Creations Private Limited, Navinchandra Jariwala, Managing Director, Heera Lakshmi Zari, Ashfaq Shilliwala and representatives of Diwaliben Trust, Bardoli were also honoured. Apart from this, awards were announced to Lakshmipathy Textiles Group, Vari Solar Panel Energy Group and Atul Bakery Group.

The brochure of the millet exhibition to be organized by the South Gujarat Productivity Council in the coming days was unveiled. This millet exhibition will be presided over by former president Arvindbhai Kapadia and Tarak Sheth.

The program was attended by former presidents of the organization, former presidents of the Chamber of Commerce and most of the members of the organization, youth and women’s wings besides prominent citizens.
