Jwalant Trivedi, trustee of Swami Narayan Sanstha, New Jersey, USA, visited the South Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry. He held a meeting with Chamber of Commerce President Ramesh Vaghasia, Vice President Vijay Mewawala, immediate past President Himanshu Bodawala, Honorary Minister Nikhil Madrasi and Honorary Treasurer Kiran Thummar. In which the Chamber President gave a presentation of SGCCI Global Connect Mission 84 project before him. The Chamber of Commerce also gave detailed information about the various activities undertaken for the last 84 years with the aim of developing the trade and industry of South Gujarat.

Chamber President Ramesh Vaghasia informed Jwalant Trivedi, Trustee of New Jersey-based Swami Narayan Institute, about Mission 84 and said that to increase exports from India, the Chamber of Commerce has created an online international platform under the Mission 84 Project, with which 84,000 traders are connected. Efforts are being made to engage 84,000 businessmen doing business in India and different parts of the world. Similarly, meetings are being held to bring 84 Chambers of Commerce of India and Chambers of Commerce of 84 countries of the world on this online international platform. Apart from this, efforts are also being made to connect the Consul Generals of 84 countries working in India and the Ambassadors representing India in 84 countries of the world on this portal.

He requested the industrialists and businessmen of Surat to try to connect with the businessmen associated with his organization in New Jersey, America. So that the industrialists and businessmen of Surat can export their products to the businessmen of New Jersey and through this can expand their business in a better way.

Surat born Jwalant Trivedi was very impressed with the Mission 84 project and assured the Chamber President of his full support to the project. He said that this project is very useful for the industrialists and businessmen of Surat and for strengthening the economy of the country, hence he urged for its prompt and efficient implementation. He also invited 3000 businessmen members of the Swami Narayan Institute based in New Jersey in the US to participate in the mission. Also assured to add 84 to the online international portal and make efforts to connect them with the industrialists and businessmen of Surat.

He further said that Indian origin businessmen living in America and Indian businessmen are very excited about doing business with India. Since there was no platform like Mission 84 available to connect them with India for international trade. Now with the launch of this platform, there is no doubt that many businessmen from America will join who love India and are interested in India’s development.

Apart from this, he also visited the infrastructure of the Chamber of Commerce including Surat International Exhibition and Convention Center and Platinum Hall at Sarsana and got detailed information about the activities of the Chamber besides the business members of the Chamber.
