South Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SGCCI) organized a ‘Traffic Awareness Road Show’ near Breadliner Circle on Udhna-Magdalla Road on Monday evening on the occasion of birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi on 2nd October, with the main objective of alerting the drivers about serious accidents. The aim was to make people aware about wearing seat belts and provide information about the safety it provides.
During the traffic awareness road show, the employees of the traffic department and members of the traffic education and awareness committee of the Chamber of Commerce gave a warm welcome to the driver and the people sitting in the car by wearing seal belts. Besides, they were also given information about the benefits of wearing seat belts. There have been many cases in which wearing seat belts have saved the lives of the driver and the car occupants in serious accidents, hence it is important to spread awareness about wearing seat belts among as many people as possible.
In the traffic awareness road show, Chamber of Commerce President Ramesh Vaghasia, Traffic Branch Police Inspector H.B. Jhala and traffic police personnel, TRB employees and Chamber of Commerce traffic education and awareness committee chairperson Kamini Dumaswala and co-chairpersons Krishnakant Kharwar and Mukesh Patel besides committee members Indravadan Mahadevwala, Brijesh Verma, Raksha Booksellers and Mineshbhai were present.
