Ladies Wing of South Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry led by Honorary Minister of SGCCI, Nikhil Madrasi visited Nita Mukesh Ambani Arts and Cultural Centre, Mumbai. The visit included over 100 women entrepreneurs including Women’s Wing President Manishaben Bodawala, Co-President Geetaben Vaghasia, Secretary Plavanmi Dave, Members Mayuriben Mewawala and Alpaben Madrasi and women staff of the Chamber.
Amazing experience of art and culture
The Nita Mukesh Ambani Arts and Cultural Center houses a 16,000-square-foot, four-storey art house. The center uses all advanced technologies to exhibit Indian and international artists. Women entrepreneurs from Surat view an infinity mirror show designed by Yayoi Kusama during their visit to the centre. Information was also given about the three dimensional (3D) paintings embedding the architectural power dynamics of the Centre’s art house.
Viewing various artefacts
Temporal Universe, created by Rakus Media, is a collection of 27 timepieces. These clocks were marked not with city time, but with emotions rather than clock hours. At the same time, new series depicting bamboo art in ‘Chaal’ and the life of women in ‘Sultana Ki Haqiqat’ were seen. Along with shopping, the women also enjoyed the music show at the flea market organized at Jio Garden.
Swadesh Store Visit
Located at the Nita Mukesh Ambani Arts and Cultural Centre, the Swadesh store showcases Indian arts, crafts and ethnic products created by Indian artists and craft makers. Women members of Ladies Wing also visited Swadesh Store and viewed various products.
