He had gifted expensive cars like Mercedes Benz to his three employees. These employees had completed 25 years of service in the company. Dholakia’s company exports diamonds to 50 countries.

Started business by taking loan
Savji Dholakia started the diamond business by taking a loan from his uncle. Dholakia established Hari Krishna Exports in the year 1991 after 10 years of hard work in diamond polishing. At that time the sale of the company was of name only. By March 2014, the company’s turnover had reached Rs 4 billion. At present thousands of employees work in his company. Savji Dholakia has been awarded the Padma Shri award. He also exports diamond jewelery to foreign countries.
