New Delhi. Renewable energy solutions provider Suzlon Group has bagged a 47.6 MW wind power project contract from KP Group in Gujarat. However, the company has not disclosed the value of the deal. The project is located at Wagra in Bharuch district. The project is expected to be commissioned in 2024, the company said in the statement. A project of this size could light up 36,000 homes and reduce carbon emissions by 1.42 lakh tonnes annually.
Suzlon will supply S133 wind turbines for the project and oversee the project’s implementation. Along with this, she will also start the project. Suzlon Group Chief Executive Officer (CEO) JP Chalasani said, “The power generated from this project will be supplied to the commercial and industrial (C&I) consumer segment.
