TCS Job Scam: Veteran IT company Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has denied the allegations of fraud in its recruitment process. The company has responded to media reports related to the bribery case for jobs. TCS says that we have examined the allegations made in the complaint and found that the allegations do not involve any fraud and financial implication by or against the company. It has been told in the media report that a whistleblower had disclosed the job scam by writing a letter to the CEO and COO of the company. In a letter written to the Chief Executive Officer and Chief Operation Officer of TCS, it was told that a senior officer of the company has taken bribe from staffing firms in lieu of giving a job. The whistleblower claimed that the practice of taking bribes from people for hiring in TCS has been going on continuously for many years.

Entire scam of 100 crore rupees!

Along with this, it is being claimed in the media report that this scam in the IT giant is not a small one, but it is worth Rs 100 crore. However, there is no confirmation about this yet. Significantly, ES Chakraborty, Global Head of RMG of TCS, has been with the company since 1997.

3 lakh recruitments done in TCS in three years

Tata Group’s IT company TCS provides the largest number of jobs in the Indian corporate world. The number of employees of TCS was 6.15 lakh at the end of 2022. In the last three years, the company has made about 3 lakh recruitments and out of these 50 thousand people have been hired in the recent few months. Almost all big IT companies including TCS recruit either through Employee Referral Program or through staffing firms.
