Company’s profits increased
The country’s largest software services exporter Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) posted a year-on-year (YoY) growth of 16.9% in revenue at Rs 59,162 crore in the March quarter. The company’s profit grew 14.76% YoY to Rs 11,392 crore. The IT major’s operating margin came in at 24.5% and net margin at 19.3%. According to the company, the income in rupees has increased by 16.9 percent over the previous year to more than Rs 59 thousand crore. There is a growth of 14.7 percent in profit as compared to last year.

The company’s revenue has recorded a strength of 1.6 percent. There has been a 5 percent increase in profit on a quarterly basis. EBIT remained at 1.4 per cent and margin at 24.5 per cent. Dollar revenue registered a strength of 1.7 per cent on a quarterly basis. The margin stood at 24.5 per cent. Dollar revenue has been $7195 million. The company has also declared dividend for the investors. Investors are very happy with this. A final dividend of Rs 24 per share has been announced to the investors.
