The biggest rule of stock market is going to be implemented from today

There is a big good news for those investing in the stock market. A big change is going to happen in the stock market from today. A new rule is going to be implemented in the stock market from March 28 which is T+0 settlement. Investors will benefit greatly from the implementation of this rule. Through this, funds will be immediately transferred to the investors’ accounts. Bombay Stock Exchange has released the list of companies for which this new system will be implemented.

Currently, T+1 trading settlement system is implemented in the Indian stock market. However, most of the stock markets around the world work on the T+2 system. India is going to become the second country to implement YT + 0 system whereas before this this system was implemented only in China.

In this regard, SEBI Chairperson Madhavi Puri Bhuj had said that the system of immediate settlement of purchase and sale of shares will be implemented from March 2025. According to the information, this new system will be implemented in the stock market in two phases. The first phase of T+0 settlement system will be functional for trades till 1.30 pm. Under this, the process of settlement of money and shares will be completed by 4.30 pm. In the second phase, there will be an alternative accelerated settlement option, which will allow settlement of both funds as well as securities.

BSE released the list of companies

Ambuja Cement, Ashok Leyland, Bajaj Auto, Bank of Baroda, Bharat Petroleum, Birlasoft, Cipla, Coforge, Divi’s Lab, Hindalco Industries, Indian Hotels Company, JSW Steel, LIC Housing Finance, LTI Mindtree, MRF, Nestle India, NMDC, ONGC , Petronet LNG, Samvardhan Motherson International, State Bank of India, Tata Communications, Trent, Union Bank of India, Vedanta have been included in the BSE.

Let us tell you that a day before the change in the trading method, a tremendous rise was seen in the stock market on Wednesday. The 30-share BSE Sensex closed with a gain of 526.02 points. Whereas the Nifty index of the National Stock Exchange closed at the level of 22123.65 with an increase of 119 points.
