An alliance has been formed between Congress and Aam Aadmi Party under the ‘Indi’ alliance for the preparation of Lok Sabha elections in the country. In other parts of the country like Delhi, Haryana, Gujarat and Goa both the parties will contest elections together while in Punjab against each other. Seeing this strange alliance reminded me of the comedy in comedian Kader Khan’s film in which the boyfriend’s mother and girlfriend’s father fall in love with each other and get married. Now through this relationship the lover became the brother of his beloved and his own father also became his father-in-law. Even his girlfriend could not understand whether she should call her mother-in-law or mother-in-law. In the family, the problem arose in front of the children of these two couples as to who should call whom according to which relationship? On the same lines, looking at the above political alliance, it has been proved true that Arvind Kejriwal, who came promising a new kind of politics in the country, has actually done something new. Although such mismatched alliances have been happening at some places in the past, but for the first time at the national level, this collaboration of Ber and Kerr has become a topic of discussion. The Aam Aadmi Party, which was born out of the Anna Hazare movement against the corruption of the Congress, is now seen to be in its favor.

Interestingly, during the election campaign, while Congress will curse the Bhagwant Mann led Aam Aadmi Party government in Punjab and raise allegations of corruption against Arvind Kejriwal, both the parties will scratch each other’s back in other states. If there is a change of power at the Centre, then the MPs here, whether they are from Congress or AAP, will sit together in the government and if the BJP government continues, then they will be seen making noises in the opposition, i.e. love with us, fight with us – oh kill, cry, cry. . In Punjab, this relationship has come to be known as fixed match or Noora Kushti. During the budget session that started in the Punjab Assembly yesterday on March 1, when the Congress cornered the AAP government over the youth killed in the ongoing farmers’ protest at the Shambhu border in Punjab, the ruling party hit back at the Congress. BJP has ridiculed it by calling it a fixed match and said that both are colluding against the farmers from within.

A story has started being told about this mismatched Khichdi alliance that during floods, all kinds of creatures forget their enmity and gather at high places to save their lives, but as soon as the water recedes, their friendship disappears in the same flood waters. flow and then become enemies of each other. It seems that due to the kind of political environment prevailing in the country and the number of people predicting the victory of BJP is already increasing, perhaps due to fear of the same, Aam Aadmi Party and Congress have together gathered a family of Pandora. This is the second election in the history of the country when the government is dominant over corruption and the opposition parties are on the defensive. Such cases have been going on against senior Congress leaders for a long time, but the staunchly honest Arvind Kejriwal and many big leaders of AAP have also been accused of the Delhi Excise scam, which is making them uneasy. Many leaders of Aam Aadmi Party are imprisoned in jails and are not even able to get bail from the Supreme Court in these cases. This is the same Kejriwal who used to stand on the stage calling Sonia Gandhi corrupt and claimed to have a bundle of evidence of the alleged corruption of former Congress Chief Minister of Delhi, late Sheila Dikshit. During the Delhi Assembly elections, he had claimed that all of them would be sent to jail as soon as they came to power. But today the same Kejriwal does not stop calling Congress as his best friend.

Even in Punjab, as soon as Bhagwant Mann’s government came to power, it launched an alleged anti-corruption campaign and conducted vigilance department raids on about a dozen former Congress ministers and MLAs and sent many of them to jail, but at present, for some unknown reason, this campaign of theirs is only Remained limited to Patwaris and clerks. The cases of big leaders have been put on a longer date. Not only Bhagwant Mann but even his ministers and leaders have stopped speaking about the corruption of big Congress leaders of Punjab.

As it has been said that alliance with opposing parties is not a new thing, but if two parties have an alliance at one place and are seen fighting with each other at another place, then such a political example is rare in the past. That is to say, both the parties claim that they have come together with each other to save democracy and the Constitution in the country. If it is so, then why was Punjab deprived of offering sacrifice in such a sacred yagya? The countrymen are now asking both Aam Aadmi Party and Congress what name to give to this relationship?
