The stock market continues to rise on the sixth day

Mumbai (Uttam Hindu News): Along with positive messages from the global level, the stock market today managed to gain momentum for the sixth consecutive day on the strength of domestic buying in groups like realty, oil and gas, auto, power, utilities.
During this period, the BSE’s 30-share sensitive index Sensex gained 13.54 points to 59846.51 points and the National Stock Exchange (NSE) Nifty gained 24.90 points to 17624.05 points. During this period, there was more emphasis on buying in small and medium companies than in big companies, due to which BSE Midcap gained 0.38 percent to 24443.02 points and Smallcap gained 0.16 percent to 27771 points.
Most of the BSE constituents were in the green with Realty up 4.17 per cent, Utilities 1.60 per cent, Power 1.56 per cent, Oil & Gas 1.18 per cent, Auto 1.23 per cent, FMCG 0.33 per cent, Financial Services 0.39 per cent, Banking 0.45 per cent and Telecommunications declined by 0.32 percent.
A total of 3781 companies were traded in BSE, out of which 1955 were in the green mark while 1669 were in the red mark. No change in 157.
Globally, barring China’s Shanghai Composite down 0.37 per cent, all other major indices gained, including Britain’s FTSE 1.03 per cent, Germany’s DAX 0.50 per cent, Japan’s Nikkei 0.42 per cent and Hong Kong’s Hangseng 0.28 per cent.
