Property advisory firm Knight Frank in its latest report has presented an assessment based on the results of the global survey. 88 percent of the Indian participants involved in this have said that their wealth will increase in the year 2022. According to this survey conducted among the ultra-rich, the wealth of the Indian rich grew by more than 10 per cent last year. He is expected to continue the process of increasing his wealth in the year 2023.

Around 47 per cent of the Indian participants among the wealthy in Knight Frank believe that their wealth will grow at a rate of more than 10 per cent in the new year. At the same time, 53 percent people feel that this year it will definitely increase by at least 10 percent. The survey also revealed that the investible wealth of the affluent Indians is largely concentrated in the equity market, real estate and bonds. Equity investment is 34 percent, investment in commercial assets is 25 percent and investment in bonds is 16 percent. Apart from these, the Indian rich also have private equity and venture capital investments (10 per cent), gold (six per cent) and cars and artworks (four per cent).
There will also be an increase in the capital of rich people.
Knight Frank India Managing Director Shishir Baijal said that with India emerging as a market full of opportunities, it is expected to remain on the growth path despite the impending recession. At such a time, there is a possibility of increasing the wealth of Indian rich people in 2023 as well. However, Baijal expressed apprehension that the turbulent global economic scenario and high interest rates could have an impact on market sentiment. Despite this, the demand for quality residential and commercial properties is expected to remain high.
