Currently the rule is that while creating a new UPI ID, a maximum of Rs 5000 can be transferred within 24 hours. In the case of NEFT, more than Rs 50 thousand can be sent in the first 24 hours. More than this amount cannot be sent. According to the new plan, a person can send an amount of Rs 2000 for the first time. After this, a break of four hours will have to be taken to send the amount.
