New DelhiIndian benchmark indices were trading flat today at the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE). There BSE Healthcare index was the top sectoral index to gain, while BSE Tech index was the top losing sector. The BSE Sensex is trading at 67,025, down nearly 75 points or 0.11% on Thursday morning. In the NSE, the Nifty-50 index was down nearly 17 points or 0.045% at 19,815. Around 1,861 scrips advanced, 1,314 scrips declined and 152 scrips remained unchanged on the BSE.


Top gainers and losers on BSE:

Today, ITC Limited, Reliance Industries Limited and Sun Pharmaceuticals Limited were top gainers on the Sensex, while UltraTech Cement Limited, HCL Technologies Limited and Infosys Limited were top losers on the Sensex.

The indices traded in a mixed manner in the broad market. The BSE Mid-Cap index declined 0.11% and the BSE Small-Cap index gained 0.27%, respectively. Top mid-cap gainers are Gland Pharma Ltd. and Bank Of India, while top small-cap gainers were Newgen Technologies Ltd. and Indian Hume Pipe Company Ltd.

As on 20 July 2023, the market capitalization of BSE-listed companies is approximately Rs 303 lakh crore. Of these, 168 stocks are trading at 52-week highs and 21 stocks have hit 52-week lows.
