Indian Computer Response Team (CERT-In) has issued a high level warning for all smartphone users. An alert has been issued by the government for Android users. It has been said in the alert that there is a major flaw in some chipsets of Android devices, taking advantage of which hackers can hack your phone at any time.
The cyber security agency has warned Android mobile users about the flaws for which companies like Google and Qualcomm had recently released security patches. Samsung has released security patches regarding 9 flaws present in its phones. CERT-In has said in its advisory that there are flaws in many parts of the Android operating system which include Framework, System, AMLogic, Arm Component, MediaTek Component, Qualcomm Component, Qualcomm Close Source Component. Users of Android 12, 12L, 13 and 14 are affected by these flaws.
