New Delhi: Indian benchmark indices are trading in the green. The effect of gain in BSE Realty index has also been seen on the benchmark index. While BSE Realty showed growth, BSE Metals index has been the top loser sector. The BSE Sensex gained 140 points or 0.22% to 65,768 points and the NSE Nifty-50 index gained 47 points or 0.24% to 19,576 points. There was a rise in 2,284 shares, a decline in 1,199 shares, while there was no change in 166 shares.

Titan Company Ltd, Kotak Mahindra Bank and Tata Motors Ltd were the top gainers on the Sensex today, while Ultratech Cement Ltd, Tata Steel Ltd. And NTPC Ltd has been the top loser in the market.

Indices in the broader markets traded higher, with BSE Mid-Cap index rising 0.93% and BSE Small-cap index rising 0.97%, respectively. Top mid-cap gainers are Indian Railway Finance Corporation Ltd and IDBI Bank, while top small-cap gainers are Centrum Capital Ltd and GMR Power & Urban Infra Ltd (GMR Power and Urban Infra Ltd). The market cap of BSE-listed companies as on September 05, 2023 is 317 Lakh Crore. Today, 305 stocks hit 52-week highs and 14 stocks hit 52-week lows. Today these penny stocks are in upper circuit. Investors should keep an eye on these stocks in the coming days.
