Mumbai: Many penny stocks are seeing a boom in the market today. While Indian benchmark indices are trading flat with BSE Utilities Index. The BSE Sensex is up nearly 9 points or 0.01% at 66,805 and the NSE Nifty-50 index is up nearly 3 points or 0.045% at 19,755. Around 1,810 scrips advanced, 1,396 scrips declined on the BSE. There is no change in 140 stocks. Infosys Limited, ICICI Bank and HCL Technologies Limited are among the top gainers in Sensex today. On the other hand, Tata Motors Limited, Bajaj Finance Limited and Titan India Limited are seeing a decline. In the broader markets, the indices traded higher. In this, BSE Mid-Cap Index has increased by 0.40% and BSE Small-Cap Index by 0.45% respectively. Top mid-cap gainers are Patanjali Foods Limited and Polycab India Limited. While top small-cap gainers included HCL Infosystems Ltd and Arihant Capital Markets Ltd.
