Seeing the action being taken against big and powerful criminals, dons and mafias, petty criminals are now coming to the police station with folded hands to save their lives, shielding their wives and children. They are openly saying that they will not commit the crime. It’s great to hear from him, the question is if he doesn’t commit crimes now, what will he do? How will the family’s expenses go? What will happen to their bread and butter? What will happen to the education of the children of these criminals? Because someone kept the history sheeter scoundrel from hiring.

After Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s order to be strict against criminals, strict action is being taken against criminals in the entire state, along with pushing them behind bars, illegal property acquired by them is also being acquired by the government. Illegally constructed buildings and houses of criminals and history sheeters are being demolished. The miscreants who are not under control are being shot out. Assets worth Rs 11.28 billion were seized while taking action against 25 well-known mafias, including Mukhtar Ansari, Atiq Ahmed, identified from the government list under ‘Operation Clean’ to make the state crime-free. Action was taken against 22,259 criminals by registering 5558 cases in the Yogi government.

In the last five years, 172 criminals have died due to police firing. Police said that in 11 days of 2023, four miscreants were killed. Meerut zone had the maximum number of 67 criminals among the total slain criminals. During the encounter, 4562 accused reached the hospital after being injured by police bullets. 1375 policemen were injured. 13 police constables lost their lives.

The question is, if they do not commit crimes due to the fear of death, then what work will they do? How will the family of criminals who come to the police station with folded hands run? How will the bread and butter of the family run? Will someone give a job to a history sheeter? How long will he be hungry? Many people kneel before the hunger of the family. There is a saying that hunger makes a man a traitor. In such a situation, he will have to go on the same path, which he has left due to the fear of death.

In such a situation, it is necessary that arrangements should be made for them from the government level, the police and administrative officers of the district should keep an eye on them. See how the family’s living is going. What is their source of income? Today a lot of money is coming in the village for development, the head of the village can be asked to keep an eye on the activities of the person who has promised not to commit crime. See how his family’s expenses are going. running or not. If it is not working, then he should give work in MNREGA or any other scheme. Get wages done. Engage with a contractor. Administrative officers can also ask an industrialist to give him work according to his capacity. The responsibility of the family giving up crime can also be given to a social organization.

The society, the government, the district administration and the police administration will have to think about the rehabilitation of the criminals who come to the police station and declare that they have not committed any crime. Such arrangements have to be made that he gets the expenses of the maintenance of the family. If this does not happen, then they may be forced to return to the old path.
