New Delhi : Domestic equity barometers edged higher in morning trade as the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) kept the repo rate steady following its monetary policy decision. Buying trend was seen in PSU bank stocks for the second consecutive session. Trading on NSE is likely to be volatile due to expiry of weekly index options. The barometer index, S&P BSE Sensex, was up 138.54 points or 0.22% at 63,281.50 on Thursday morning. At the same time, the Nifty 50 index rose 43.20 points or 0.23% to reach 18,769.60. inox wind

Shares of Inox Wind today saw a rise of 5% after the company announced that it has bagged an order for a 100 MW wind power project from ABNergia Renewables Pvt Ltd (ABEnergia), an independent power producer. In the order, the company will supply and install a 3.3 MW wind turbine generator with 145 m rotor and 120 m hub height. The project will be executed on a turnkey basis at Dayapar in Kutch district of Gujarat and is planned to be commissioned by 2024.

Titagarh Wagons

Shares of Titagarh Wagons rose nearly 5% in early trade on June 8 to hit a 52-week high. A day earlier, the company had announced that its board would meet on June 10 to consider and approve the proposal to raise funds. Fundraising will be done through rights issue, preferential share issue or qualified institutional placement of equity shares.

The company has announced the winning of a significant order from the Ministry of Defence, Government of India, worth approximately Rs.202 crores.
