Due to the increase in the prices of essential things, there is a lot of impact on the pocket of the common man. These days the prices of plates available in restaurants have also increased wildly. According to the Crisil report, the price of veg thali has increased by 34 percent while the price of non-veg thali has increased by 13 percent.

The prices of tomatoes have increased in the month of July, after which the prices of plates have increased almost thrice. According to statistics, the price of veg thali has increased by 34 percent. Tomato is the main reason for its price increase. Let us tell you that the prices of tomatoes had increased by 233 percent in July. Tomato had reached Rs 120 a kg from Rs 33. At the same time, the prices of onion and potato also increased. Although their price did not increase much like tomato. Onion became costlier by 16 per cent and potato by 9 per cent.
Chilli and cumin prices also increased
Not only the prices of vegetables but also the prices of spices have increased. The prices of chilli and cumin have also increased. Chilli prices have increased by 69 per cent and cumin by 16 per cent. At the same time, the rates of non-veg tali have also increased. Its price has become costlier by about 13 percent.
Prices may increase further
It has also been said in the report that in the coming month, the price of tomato can reach up to Rs 300 per kg. Wholesale traders have also expressed the possibility that its price may increase. And the central government is selling tomatoes at subsidized rates.
