Most of the markets in Asia are trading in the green. GIFT Nifty and Dow futures are also trading in the green. Whereas, due to the decline in core inflation, the American market also witnessed a rise. The Dow Jones rose more than 300 points. At the same time, due to the expectation of increase in demand in the international market, the price of crude has once again increased.

The bullish trend in the local stock markets continued on Thursday and the Nifty of the National Stock Exchange reached its highest ever level of 20,103 points with a gain of more than 33 points. At the same time, the upward trend in BSE Sensex continued for the 10th consecutive day. Amidst the strong trend in global markets, the market got support from buying in oil, gas and commodity stocks in the last hour of trading. Amidst the ups and downs, BSE Sensex based on 30 shares closed at 67,519 points with a gain of 52.01 points or 0.08 percent. At one time during trading, it jumped 304.06 points to reach its highest ever level of 67,771.05 points. In the last 10 sessions, BSE Sensex has risen 2,687.59 points or 4.14 percent. NSE Nifty closed at its all-time high of 20,103.10 points with a gain of 33.10 points or 0.16 percent. During trading, it had gone up by 97.65 points to a record 20,167.65 points.

  • Infosys: Infosys has announced its intention to hold discussions on its interim dividend along with the release of its second quarter results, scheduled for October 12.

  • United Spirits: In response to a decision regarding the GST rate applicable on royalty income, the Company has initiated the appeal process before the Joint Commissioner of Commercial Taxes (Appeal-1).

  • NTPC: NTPC Limited has entered into a supplementary joint venture agreement with UP State Electricity Generation Corporation.

  • Bharat Forge:Paramount has unveiled the expansion of its development and manufacturing collaboration with Bharat Forge and Kalyani Strategic Systems. This expansion aims to facilitate the production of a more comprehensive range of armored vehicles within India while meeting the needs of Paramount’s global customers.

  • Tata Power: Tata Power’s subsidiary Tata Power Renewable Energy has entered into a power distribution agreement (PDA) with Expro India through a special purpose vehicle (SPV) for setting up a 3.125 MW AC cluster captive solar plant.

  • Reliance Industries:The company is planning to conduct a scheduled maintenance and inspection drive, which will include shutting down specific units at its Jamnagar facility. This includes a crude distillation unit and a delayed coking unit at the SEZ refinery. The maintenance activity is expected to begin in the fourth week of September 2023 and last for approximately four weeks.

  • Bharti Airtel: The company has been ordered to pay a fine of Rs 2,43,42,631 from the Joint Commissioner-CGST of the Central Excise and CGST Commissionerate in Jaipur. The company intends to challenge this order through the appropriate appellate forum.

  • Alkem Labs: Alkem Labs has said that the Income Tax Department conducted a survey on many of its offices and subsidiaries. The company has confirmed its full cooperation with the IT department officials and is actively addressing the queries raised by them.

  • Adani Enterprises: Adani Wind, a subsidiary of Adani Enterprises, has achieved recognition as its 5.2 MW wind turbine has been included in the list of models approved by MNRE (Ministry of New and Renewable Energy).
